Recently filming on the Thames for "Talent Search", TV star David Grant is interrupted when his crew spot something over the water! Watch this footage and ask yourself why the film company won't release the film of what they actually saw. I only have stills - see my News section.

Slovakian Television were filiming in the area at the same time, and their reporter (another Richard!) attempted to get an interview with David Grant, who seems very upset.

Unearthed from my own archive is this piece of film which found its way to me about four years ago. Apparently taken around the time of the World Football Cup in 2002, it shows something in the background that the Korean ladies in the film didn't notice until they got home.

RECENT SIGHTINGS

This year has seen a bumper crop of Thames Angel sightings. It could just be that people know what they're looking for or it could be that something big is about to happen. The fact that so many people now have digital cameras with, oftern on their mobile phones means you're never far away from capturing that picture of a lifetime! Either way, some excellent image are finding their way to me here at Angel Central!

The picture that has sparked so much interest recently. Taken towards the Embankment by student Jemima Waterhouse, it bears an uncanny similarity to the previous sightings. Visit her website at http://www.freewebs.com/jemimawaterhouse/ although there does seem to ba a clear connection here she does get some elements of the story wrong.

The next one was taken by Alex (send if your surname for a full credit, Alex) from Bermondsey. I'm currently working on the theory that this was taken on the same day as the David Grant sighting, as it seems to be in the same area.

The more I look at this picture, whcih has been posted on another Thames Angel website (yes, I know him!) the more I think its a fake. One reason is the fact that the angel seems to be overlapping the people in the foreground. It is also anonnymous. Anyone claim it? No. Didn’t think so!

Now this is more like it. Taken by Mario Daniello who was visiting relatives and on his way back to Waterloo station. He reports thinking that it was a lazer projection or something, but felt, in his own words “full of laughing and happiness”, which tallies quite nicely with other angel spotters’ experiences.
